Make what ever analogy you want. I'll take less exclusion over more. Look at the demographic break down of the 2012 election. It happened for a reason.
 
Back on topic, I don't think this is going to work out very well for the GOP. They are going to run this straight up to the 14th with the debt limit and we are going to take another credit hit. I think the GOP is going to take the hit for that one as well. I guess the first indicator will be Nov 2014. The gerrymandering will protect a lot of the GOP but I think they will take a few hits. The 2016 election is looking more and more like a pipe dream for them.

Edit: Looks like Boehner is getting nervous. Reports are saying that he will do what it takes to make sure the US does not default on it's debt. Hee Hee. This is going to get good.

I don't think this is going to work out very well for the DNC. They are going to run this straight up to the 14th with the debt limit and we are going to take another credit hit. I think the DNC is going to take the hit for that one as well. I guess the first indicator will be Nov 2014. The gerrymandering will protect a lot of the entitlement whores but I think they will take a few hits. The 2016 election is looking more and more like a pipe dream for the DNC.

I agree with you on getting all together and working on improving the law. If there was not so much will for it to fail, any flaws could have been remedied by now.

There is no reason to repeal the law. Any large act ever passed has been revised many times to improve it (Constitution?).

I sincerely think that this is the last stand for the anti-Obama and Obamacare haters. Once the law is fully in effect and people get used to it and start reaping its benefits, there will be no way to repeal it. Obama will end up looking like a genius because of the republican insistence in calling it Obamacare.

The Tea Party has held its breath, turned blue, passed out, and started the whole process again. The whole country is ignoring their latest tantrum.
 
So the House has just passed a bill to pay all furloughed government workers back pay.

Why is it that they will not pass a bill to put them all back to work since they are all getting paid to stay home?

I thought the Republican mantra was "We should run government more like a business."

Not many businesses force their employees to stay home while giving them pay.
