I received news tonight that my good friend and (former) fellow employee Joseph (Jay) Volpe passed away from a heart attack today. Jay worked for Allegheny before the mergers and worked at ISP/JFK/TPA. He retired about 2 years ago. If anyone knew him and would like info on the service, etc, please ctc me and as soon as I know anything I will pass it on to you. Thanks.

my deepest sympathies go out to him and his entire family during their time of need. my grandmother just past away last monday and funeral today may he rest in peace

I worked with Jay he was one of the good guys. We will miss him thoughts and prayers to all who knew him.Rest in peace Jay.
I am stunned and sullen over the passing of former co-worker and friend, Jay Volpe. He left long before his time. Jay was one of the good guys and will be missed. He had the kind of values and character that made an impression on everyone who knew him. Rest in peace Jay, the Irish eyes are weaping...
