One of my coworkers just got back from vac. in MEM & he said all they (NW folks) were talking about was a US/NW merger. Has anyone else heard this or is this just something you feel he is making up ?

I've got NO info to add, but A couple of things have been/are QUITE obvious.

First off,

NW is a VERY INDEPENDENT(quirky) outfit, so a M/A is foreign to them !

Secondly,

Parker is Running around like a fuc*ing NUT job, talking up mergers, while his NUMBER ONE HUB....PHL...is CRUMBLING around him.

Mabey Parker is "NERO" in disguise.

I assume you meant that M/A is foreign to them "now." 🙂

I would say that they've had their fill of M/A given the history of the place (Republic, Southern, Hughes Air West, Bonanza, Pacific, etc., etc.).
