For the eight years of GWB the liberal MSM was having a fit over every little thing. Unemployment at 5.2% and they were in a meltdown. Just look at the state of the economy now and its crickets. They were having a fit when unemployment was at 5.2%? When was this? In 2006 when the GOP lost control of congress the economy was doing just fine. Granted it was a house of cards but it was still chuging along. Therefore it's kind of hard for you to blame the liberak MSM and or democrats for that loss. That loss probably had more to do with Iraq.

You cant deny that the media plays an integral part in messaging. People don't walk around like zombies, tuned out to the world around them. If all they see, hear, read, that X is bad. Then they will eventually form an opinion that X is bad. Marketing a message is just as powerful as marketing a product for consumption.
Perfect example is the current debt ceiling debate. Is the media asking why the administration has not been able to pass a budget for over 800+ days, and waited to the 11th hour? No. The media is pushing a message that the republicans aren't willing to compromise, even tho they are the only ones with a plan that has passed congress. The liberal MSM is following along in foortstep with the democratic party trying to frame a message that its all the republicans fault.

Looks like tech already pointed out the flaws in your argument. Republicans controlled the Sen from '82-'87. Regan did not veto a single budget that was passed by both houses. So both parties were complicit in what ever you claim happened.
Three pages later you still have not acknowledged that at least part of what you said was wrong. Both houses were not controlled by the dems. If you do not have the ability to accept the facts then it seems fruitless to argue with you.
