I am new to the forum but have been monitoring for several months. I have been flying for 2 ears and have a little over 100 hours. I wanted to get you all's opinion regarding the safest and most forgiving single on the market for my level of experience. I am looking at a Cessna 182,PE-32 and a Cirrus SR 20 but am open to all advice one way or another. Thanks!

You're probably going to get several opinions on this, but my two cents would be pick a aircraft that is designed as a trainer. A 172, Warror, DA-20, or something similar. Training aircraft are designed to be forgiving, but you're going to lose other qualities, such as speed, by going with a trainer.

It all boils down to what aircraft is going to fit YOUR needs.

I would say the C-182 is a great plane. Get something with nothing in it and learn to fly until you get about 500 hours

it would mostly depend on what you learned in. if you haven't got your license yet i would lean toward a Cessna 172. Also how long are you thinking about owning it? if you are going to own it for a long time I'd go for a 182 because it's a slightly faster and more advanced airplane. However it all boils down to what you want and what you plan to do with it.

🙂 😀 🙂 😀
