Sarah vs US history

Since I'm not a conservative I can't say.

I also don't know what a "Dittohead" is.

As for Herman Cain, here is a guy who has actually created jobs and for a great many years made his living as a turn around expert and a stint at the Federal Reserve in Kansas City.

After completing his master's degree from Purdue, Cain left the Department of the Navy and began working for The Coca-Cola Company as a business analyst. In 1977, he joined Pillsbury where he rose to the position of vice president by the early 1980s. He left his executive post to work for Burger King – a Pillsbury subsidiary at the time – managing 400 stores in the Philadelphia area. Under Cain's leadership, his region went from the least profitable for Burger King to the most profitable in three years. This prompted Pillsbury to appoint him president and CEO of Godfather's Pizza, another of their then-subsidiaries. Within 14 months, Cain had returned Godfather's to profitability. In 1988, Cain and a group of investors bought Godfather's from Pillsbury. Cain continued as CEO until 1996, when he resigned to become CEO of the National Restaurant Association – a trade group and lobby organization for the restaurant industry – where he had previously been chairman concurrently with his role at Godfather's.

Cain became a member of the board of directors to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1992 and served as its chairman from January 1995 to August 1996, when he resigned to become active in national politics. Cain was a 1996 recipient of the Horatio Alger Award.

Cain was on the board of directors of Aquila, Inc. from 1992 to 2008

Compare this to a guy who has never had to work the phones on Tuesday so he could collect enough money to make payroll for his workers on Friday. He did hold a private sector job if you call being a University Professor private sector.

I love Ron Paul because I think he's the right man for the job. However I'd LOVE to see Herman Cain run against Obama then he can attack Cain by saying he's "Not Black Enough". Oh that would be one funny race, all those rednecks down South waving Cain posters. That and I'd love to see "Teleprompter Man" go one on one with Cain in the debates. Cain would eat him like of of his Pizzas.

The above quote is actually a wiki bio

I highlighted a portion of your original post. You might consider researching his tenure at Aquila Inc and let us know how that worked out for the company and it's employees. I think that may explain why when you look at his bio on wiki it is only mentioned the one time. I am not sure the country needs a POTUS with that kind of business history. I think once that gets out and becomes public knowledge his boat is sunk. Who knows though. Bush Jr. had a horrible business record and he got two terms.

What? That he made the tough decisions? That's what the boss does. He doesn't consult opinion polls to see how he's supposed to feel.

I just think it would be hilarious to take the race card away by having a black Conservative Republican run for POTUS.

As my prediction is that given the current economic conditions, Barack Obama will play the race card and any other card he can in order to hold onto power even if it means dividing the nation for the next 20 years. He's a scumbag of the first order and he will make the Swift Boat Scandal look like Sunday School if he gets a change.

This is one reason I like Dr Paul. He's as squeaky clean as they get so far as we know and if he runs against Obama, the anointed one will have a great deal of difficulty in the areas of intellectual integrity and honesty. Since Dr Paul has it in gobs and when it comes to concepts like integrity and intellectual honesty Obama couldn't find his ass with both hands in a phone booth with a flashlight.

A tough decision?

He was on the Bod of a company that made bad business decisions, had a retirement account heavily invested in it's self, encouraged employees to invest in the company and then made it hard to liquidate, had a class action law suite filed which it settled out of court after it went bankrupt. He was on the compensation committee handing out over $30 million in bonuses to the top 5 execs of a company that was going belly up.

It remains to be seen if Cain gets any traction. I believe if he does, the other republicans will tear him a new one with the Aquila info. That is not something Mr. Cain wants out there and I do not think it will sit well with the conservative right.

The "Aquila Thing" goes on all day, every day. To this very day in board rooms around the world. Has been indicted, charged or convicted? Do we here is name when companies like Adelphia, Enron, World Com, Rite-Aide are mentioned? Geez I don't think we do. Apparently upon further investigation the company was involved in at best questionable dealings at the time of the Enron Scandal. Difference was/is that Aquilla was able to merge/sell some assets and deliver at least some shareholder value, which in the end is the job of the BoD.

Herman Cain is also a member of the scandal ridden National Baptist Church, since you hate Christians why not throw that rock too while you're busy dragging a self made man through the mud?

See the Character Assassination has already begun by the "Obamanista's". At least the maggot on 1600 PA Blvd hasn't accused of him being an "Uncle Tom" just yet. They're leaving that task to people like you! You don't like Cain's record with Aquilla? Is Jeffrey Immelt's bonus OK because he supports your field N-word instead of the House N-word Cain?

Is that how it works?

You are freaking hilarious. You argue that Cain 'created' jobs and Obama never did. Fine. Cain also gave out $30 million in bonuses a few month before his company canned 500 people. Their retirement account went toes up and anyone who had money in it lost pretty much everything. No he was not convicted. They settled out of court to save their sorry behinds. Does the fact that they were not in the news make the crime better for you? The bottom line is Cain was on the BoD of a company that royally screwed over it's employees, fired 500 of them settled out of court to save their own butts and moved on after leaving numerous personal tragedies in their wake because they were greedy amoral SOB's

I do not care for most of the compensation that executives receive. Most of them receive benefits that are disproportionate to their work and to the salaries of the employees who work for the company. This includes airlines, oil companies, and Mr. Jeffrey Immelt. The difference here is that Cains company was in serious financial trouble because the BoD was corrupt and not doing it's job. The difference is that Cain was handing out money to the execs while the employees were getting screwed and loosing their retirements.

Is Mr Cain in the leadership of the church? If so then he is responsible. I have not heard that he is in the leadership. If he is just a member then it is up to him if he wants to support a corrupt institution.

Fine, he is a self made man. He also needs to take responsibility for his failure as well. Let the cards fall where they may. I believe the Aquila incident shows a huge failure in moral character and ethics. The fact that h is trying to hide it makes it all the more enjoyable. Kind of like seeing Weiner swirl the bowl after he got busted lying through his teeth.

Geez. Pick a principle and try sticking with it. Either crooks are bad or their are not. Weiner, Foley, Craig, Vittor and the rest are scuz balls. I do not care if they are republican, democrat or anything else. Stop apologizing for your scuz balls and crying foul when they are not part of your team. Makes you appear like a 5 yr old throwing a tantrum. Same thing with all the juvenile name calling. Puts you at the same level of the people you decry but what else is new. Yea yea, I know. You can do what you want and there is nothing I can do. Never said I wanted to do anything. The longer you cannot present a logical argument with out name calling, the longer your arguments fall of deaf ears. People tend to tune out name callers because it implies a lack of intelligence and rational thought. You are usually better than that. I am not sure why you feel you have to rely on that but what ever.

Best Bill O'Reilly Comment EVER

In the end, the media's obsession with Palin actually helps her. Americans know when a person is being persecuted. Like her or not, Palin does not deserve the level of scrutiny being foisted upon her and her family. She's just a politician, people, not Kim Kardashian.

This is from an article of his dealing with the lack of dirt in the 24,000 pages of Governor Palin's e-mails that were recently released.

The Great Palin e-Mail Hunt

If she does not wish to be in thenlime riht then perhaps she should not seek attention. She is in politics. For her to not want the Attention is like a doctor not liking blooded guts. Kind of goes with the territory.

Unless of course the politician in question is the empty suit POTUS or "He who must never be criticized". Then the rules change as the faint but pungent whiff of hypocrisy wafts across the greensward.

Yea. He never gets criticized about any thing right? Seems like another case of its ok if it happens to your guy but not ifnit happens to mine.

Ms Palin opened her mouth and she was fair game. If she does not.like it she can always leave tbe show room floor.

Put her on the ticket. Go for it if you think she can do it. I'd love to see it.
