You clowns can ridicule these people all you want but the truth is that they now have a job and have said to hell with AMFA which is a very smart thing to do. They will have a job that they enjoy and be accepted by the company while you clowns stand on the other side of the fence in the cold.

I agree with you, A JOB. It's only a job not a career with a future. Flipping burgers and greeting people at Walmart is also a JOB. These guys crossing the picket line are looking for temporary relief. They are on a suicide mission. They have no future or benefits. Just a paycheck week to week. They betrayed their fellow AMT's for their own desperate measures. The end is near for NW as far as it's maintenance department goes. Scabs are not doing the job, managers as well as the VP of A/C maintenance are turning wrenches. That to me is desperate measures to survive. The fuse is at the end and about to burn out. Stick around for another few weeks and we will all see what will happen. Hopefully no catastrafies. Go ahead and put a spin on my comment. That is what you do best.

All I can say is that its a small industry, funny you never know when or where you will run into these people again...and when you do after all this one word will pop into your mind before anything else....SCAB!!!!!!!

I could careless. The problem with you people is you think I really care. This is the easiest job I have ever had in the aviation industry. NWA strikers were fools for leaving it, even if they were going to have to work 6 hours out of eight instead of 3 out of eight.

Welcome to the real world union punks. How are the MRO's treating you guys? You didn't know how easy you had it did you? Complacency can be a mother.

That's good because you are now pretty much stuck there.

It amazes me how small this industry really is. You are new to it so you might not know that. But rest assured your actions here will follow you for the rest of your career, and not in a good way. Even management pretends they like scabs because you suit their purpose, but they know that by your nature you are not to be trusted.

Gotta love it, someone who has been in the business a little over 10 years calling all who belong to unions "punks" I would say come back in another 10 yrs and you would have the right to make that statement, but judging by you work ethic you won't last that long!!

Bottom line and you just said it "you really don't care". I've experienced products first hand manufactured and repaired by people "who really don't" care!! Junk!!! And you claim to be working on aircraft???? Scary!!!

what will happen to them if or when a NWA plane crashes and the NTSB faults the maintaince on the plane as the problem? I only say that because on another thread a DC-9 emergency landed back at MSP due to a rudder problem. I dont want a plane to go down but sadly this is it seems to be getting close to a reality thing

Not our choice my friend.

We are considered a group of disgruntled employees that are crying ‘the sky is falling’ regardless of the proof we provide.

JMHO,
Even after a few ‘incidents’ wherein there is a smoking hole or two the powers that be will downplay the tragedy(s) and assure the flying public that ‘Everything is Okedokey!’. They will issue a few maintenance tips and AD’s and everyone will be happy as long as they can get from JFK to LAX for $99 Bucks.

I share your concern, but when the traveling public and the government do not see the future problems, then I will not feel guilty on the outcome as they were ‘informed’ and chose not to believe it!

Their choice, not mine.

I will continue my efforts to inform the public but it is ultimately their choice.

Hey Ace I was referring to union strikers calling me scab when I said, "I don't care.", has nothing to do with my work ethics genius. Yaw dampner, I guess that is the only one that ever broke in flight.

NHBB, did you finally have that stroke? Your speech lately seems to be very limited.

Visited the picket line again yesterday, seven people in poor spirits. Hang in there guys you are wearing NW down. It must really be disheartening to watch aircraft after aircraft climbing out over the parking garage retracting their landing gear and making a bee-line to their detination. It must be disheartening to watch passenger after passenger unload their luggage and hug loved ones goodbye right at your feet , not ten feet away and not see you. It must be really disheartening to see DTW slap full of the flying public that hasn't even blinked an eye at this strike. What happened to you guys? You were so full of piss and vinegar the first two weeks, Q-beams shinning on us, cat calls that we could actually hear, forty or fifty people standing strong. There was once life in this strike now it is all but a rottting carcass of what it was. I hope for you guys sake that AMFA has a better action plan than what it has shone over the past two months.

Just curious -- do tell the model of your personal automobile?

Or how about them shoes on you?

Your microwave or TV perhaps?

Been down this path before, experienced the bad products and service and believe me I do no frequent those stores or services anymore!! I have had that new vehicle, which still under warranty had failure which required towing....more than once!! Must have been built on a Mon or Fri as they say!! Point is at 35K feet and something stops, its not pretty!!! I for one want someone working on and flying that aircraft who knows what they are doing and has some pride in their work ethic and company. Not someone who is there for a paycheck and a couple of weeks!!!
