Scabhunters

Lets put it a different way, when assigned a job I realize the importance of doing it correctly and per the AMM. I just don't go ripping and tearing like and old automobile, because unlike the auto, which if it quits you pull off the road the a/c falls from the sky!! I have read in your own words your mechanical ability and that is what scares me!!!
 
what causes a yaw damper to go broke resulting in the DC-9 to sway?
how serious it is on take off compared to landing? I know that a yaw damper was partly if not fully responsible for the crash of US Air 427 AC513AU back in SEP of 1994. but how is it different on a DC-9?

I may be wrong but isn't a SCAB a person who worked for NWA (WAS a UNION member in good standing) then went on STRIKE (found out they had been lied to by their leaders and denied a chance to vote on the most important contract in their lives) and then crossed the line to go back to work (because they found out that they had a pretty good thing before, and it sure beats walking a picket line and receiving squat from the UNION except getting a bunch of BULL S**T letters to STAND STRONG and WE HAVE A PLAN i.e WE HAVE NO FREAKIN CLUE WHAT TO DO FOR YOU we just want your monthly dues back we could give a crap about you or your families)?

The Contract A&P's who work for NWA right now (are not UNION MEMBERS ) they never worked or have been employed by NWA so how could they be considered SCABS? They never went out on strike. They work where they are needed. They are here for the money so they can take 8 to 10 months off in a nice warm climate and order room service (while the UNION members who walked out have to live in this cold and crappy state and work for McDonalds or Walmart) :shock:

When there is a need for Contract A&P's again they will once more rise to the occasion and offset yet another misguided UNION. Do you see a trend here? in the end the UNION always looses and the CONTRACT A&P's always have plenty of time and money on their hands sitting on the beach looking at the sunset. B) The only thing the UNION members have to look forward to is thinking "Do they want cheese on their hamburger and would you like to SUPERSIZE that order" <_<

So who is the stupid one here?

I think it's pretty simple. Just some "FOOD FOR THOUGHT"

I know you will not understand this but give it a shot anyway.
If you choose to cross a picket line, that is your own personal choice that you must live with. Just don't try to justify it with your anti-union dribble and don't blame 'me' as I visit your neighborhood in the SCABmobile and SCABcam!

You spent time and money for your licenses just so you can make the ‘good pay and benefits’ offered by the profession and in this downturn, you could not achieve your goal.

The 'ONLY' reason that our wages and benefits are what they are, is because of the sacrifices that 'Unions' (Read People in Unions = The Membership) have made up to this point in time.

Apparently, you are willing to prostitute your services for $21 an hour and some OT. After all of this shakes out and ‘if’ NWA is successful in breaking AMFA, how much will you be making then?

Now, as the industry is turning back the clock, who will have the tenacity and intestinal fortitude to make a stand and say ‘enough?’

JETECH....I have only a few words for you. One, your an idiot. Two, your intelligence shows just what an idiot you are and that your a scum scab. Now my question for you is this, what exactly do you think a strike vote is? i know its a tough one to start with but try hard. Please explain where NW techs were lied to, were you there? i know another hard one for your small mind.

I was just wondering, is your name JE TECH or JET ECH because JETECH looks stupid but ehy you are a scab so i shouldnt expect you to know how to spell.

If you were truly a NW tech before the strike then you would know a membership vote on the companies proposal's wasnt needed. The only ones you hear whining about it are the scum like yourself who are trying to justify their actions. The membership spoke when we voted to strike. Only scum like you would vote to accept a contract while screwing over your fellow workers and friends, that is if you had the senority to hold a job after the contract. But then again you are a scum SCAB so screwing over your workers and friends comes naturallly to you.

Now do us all a favor and crawl back into whatever hole you came out of and hope your family doesnt get a chance to vote on a contract that replaces you.

A scab is someone who does struck work. The guys working on airplanes at NWA are doing struck work. Simple enough for you?

I suggest you do more research before posting again. Like PTO, your obvious inexperience in the industry is causing you to come to some questionable conclusions.

BTW, you should be thanking AMFA for your pay scale. If they had negotiated pay rates in the $ 20+ area you would only be making in the high teens as a "contract worker". It is only because they negotiated $30+ that NWA was forced to pay you in the high 20's so you can afford your "time on the beach".

Benefiting from AMFA and their members while you are simultaneously stabbing them in the back. It saddens me to know there are people like you around and living amongst us.

Well that just goes to show me what fools you are. Anyone with any type of real aviation experiance would instantly know that my whole career has been dedicated to sheet metal and that I have very little experiance as a systems mechanic. If you guys new half has much about aircraft as you do about unions you might be worth something.

I never said I was a SCAB. I have a friend who works as a contractor and has taken a full time position in NWA in DTW. I just like to see what the 121 part of the industry is doing. I am in 135. Personally what you guys made before the strike was a joke, kinda like the union that represents you. We dont have a union where I work don't need one. We all work as a team for the customer and we all win. We don't try to do as little as possible and then want more money for doing it like the jack A$$ union 121 people do. Nope never worked 121 don't ever plan on doing so. 121 pay scale is a joke. most 121 guys could never make it in 135 corporate. And the ones I saw try I made sure they failed. You see 121 and 135 don't mix. It's like the 121 guys are the trailer trash and 135 guys are upper class. Pretty simple to me. :up:
