It's up to you sport, nobody is making you be scumbag. Reading your posts is like reading some NAMBLA member try to explain away his behavior. You are dellusional.

NO job is worth ones honor or integrity. No GRUDGE is either. One things for sure, I'd never hire a former scab to work for me. It shows such a lack of ethics and character that I could never trust that troll.

KTO, get used to this sort of thing and be sure to smile for the camera (and please zip up your pants).

Why wait? Take your a$$ now.

Gentlemen these guys are here till the end of this. So I suggest you get use to this. I wouldn't be so proud of following some weak union boss to my own demise. Reading some of these posts here reminds me of reading about Nazi Germany. You hard core union guys, if you strike, are going to get a dose of reality. The free glorified welfare you have been on is coming to an end.

Enough of that now. Rumor here has it that AMFA is going to cut a deal. Doesn't sound right to me but if any one knows something about this please verify.

I would also like to clarify the pay here. First off we get $32.00 Hr. One boxed lunch per day. $1000.00 sign on bonus. Paid hotel. Transportation to and from work. A tool box with tools. $1000.00 bonus upon completion of contract and our certificates for training.

Sound like a lot? Well I'm 1500 miles from home, I havn't seen my family since June. I'm in a different time zone so talking to them on the phone is even difficult. The boxed lunch is horrible and I suggest to NW and the contract companies that they fix this problem. This alone is running people off, not only is it bad but they led every one to believe that all meals were paid for. I've left messages with my recruiter but he has yet to return my call. The hotel is nice but extremely expensive and boring, once again I suggest to NW and the contract companies to fix this problem. Also you have the secret service wannabees here just about to explode wanting to take someones head off. Don't get me wrong most of these guys are cool but there is a few that need to join the marines. There are no medical or dental benefits, there is no sick or vacation pay, there is no pension or 401K. The tool box? I have seen the list, if we recieve it at all, which I doubt we will, I'll give it to my son so I can later run over the scatterd pieces with the lawn mower. The gen-fam's are the best deal going here.

No integrity lost here I already feel better about myself for going up against a union such a AMFA. Any time the call is made I'll be there. For you poor saps that think the union is your life how are you going to feel about the predicted 60 % of your brothers that cross your own lines within a week?

This is for all the lurking people out there that slide in here, read these posts and slide out, like some creep in the dark, without leaving some type of comment.

I ask you... Do you think todays unions place its members first? Simple yes or no question.

Unemployed?......hardly so, but Ill not devulge to the likes of you where I punch the clock. You may hate union's and if so i could care less, but you best understand one thing SCAB! If not for unionism you could never expect to make $32.00 bucks an hour turning wrenches on airplanes.

But to deny the value of unions and their place in history is both ignorant and foolish.

Their place in history and their place today are two different things, Piney.

I keep hearing different reasons for why unions are still necessary, but I'm not entirely convinced that those reasons amount to more than marketing spin.

Are WN's employees well taken care of because of the union, or because they've had a management culture which puts employees first? Jetblue has managed to do the same thing, but without unions.

Outside the airlines, you'll find lots of other companies which do a great job of balancing employee-friendly cultures with being profitable. Home Depot immediately comes to mind, mainly because I've worked a second job there as a front line employee. But there are lots of others. And yes, there are the Walmarts of the world who treat employees as a replaceable commodity. But as we're seeing with US, NW, and UA, they're also treating employees as a replaceable commodity, and the unions aren't preventing that from happening.

So, I don't question the value of unions in the past, or their contribution to laws which greatly improve safety or hiring/firing practices. But I don't think that they are nearly as relevant today.

People who by their own admission "Hate" can not be reasoned with. How someone can "Hate" organizations that are largely responsible for their standard of living baffles me.

I'm no fan of the modern day rigid, hide bound & arthrictic dinosaurs that pawn themselves off as "Organized Labor", much of what is going on is of their own doings.

But to deny the value of unions and their place in history is both ignorant and foolish.

I fully understand what the unions did for the work force in the 20's and 30's. when government refused to step in and do anything. If you are comparing todays unions to the unions of then you are a very misled individual.

It's the fear of unionization that breeds the attitudes and atmoshere at Home Depot and others.

I'll respectfully disagree.... what I found in talking with others at the store I worked in and with associates from other stores is that many of them used to work in union environments (primarily trade unions), and wanted nothing to do with them at HD.

I cant speak for those employees at Home Depot, but I supect the hundred's of thousands who Toil at Walmart would welcome Unionism!

I would like to ask all potential SCABS if they truly believe that NWA will continue the "promised" wages and benefits long after the strike?

KTO, I believe this misguided quest of yours to rid society of unionism is simply a smokescreen. Your true mission is to obtain the almighty buck by any means, without moral compass. Your the Judas Iscariot of aviation, betraying a profession of men and women, who happen to be union members, toiling to insure a safe flying experience for millions. Only union members, not you, have a right to decide if their affiliation with organized labor is flawed.
