Has anyone heard the rumor about United looking at CRJ-900''s to run the shuttle? I heard this from an inside source but couldn''t confirm if this was for mainline or express. The only express that could run this would probably be Air Wisconsin if they retired those Bac jets. Does mainline United really want to start a new fleet type if they decide to do this? The 737''s got to be cheaper since they have sims/mx/availability vs. a new plane/fleet.
