Sikorsky S92 Visiting Halifax Area

S92 or more correctly the H92 Superhawk is visiting CFB Shearwater this coming Friday and Saturday, 24 and 25 Oct 2003.

I am fortunate to be scheduled to fly the aircraft and looking forward to it.

Anyone else interested in seeing it can PM me and I will gladly act as your military escort. I will arrange for you to come on the base to view the aircraft and meet the Sikorsky people. You can speak directly to them and perhaps arrange your own flight, it's their call.

I promise to post piccies of the beast later on.

Vortex Ring you're the best.. What an awesome machine.. I can only hope someday I get to actually fly it.. opposed to being a passenger... although cosider myself very lucky to of been treated to a couple of short but sweet trips in it!! Hope you have a great flight!!!.. let us know how it goes!!!

Great piccies RH. You guys are very welcome and I am so glad you came out and got flights, that just topped it all off non?

I would have paid good money to see the faces of the CHC lads when the machine landed at YHZ and you three stepped off 😱 😀

I am scheduled to fly it Saturday for 45 minutes so I promise to post a few piccies. I owe you guys a tour of the mighty 423rd Maritime Helicopter Squadron and I'll gladly exchange that for a tour of your incredible new hangar you CHC boys have at YHZ, beautiful facility and I can't wait to look about.

Can you tune in tbe Playboy Channel on that fancy flat screen thingy ?.
Do they have power tail fold yet ?. Did they do any shp landings on the tour ?.
Actually ASTEC are doing some final assembly on the NH90 and I think a finnish company is also involved .
