Hello,
I've been reading this forum for some time on and off, and haven't really participated much.
I am well aware of the pestilence that has caused outcroppings of posts filled with balderdash such as UCT Thoeries, sophist-calling, and informed sources (Oh my!)
My solution has simply been to skip over them.
I find that automatically skipping a post in which there is a poster you do not like greatly enhances your reading in this forum, in addition to saving much time.
It sounds easier said than done, which is true. But simply stop responding, and you will see less and less desirable posts.
After all, if you've tried to correct these ridiculous claims for over a year, what makes you think your efforts at correction will do anything in the future?
On another note, I just want to say that one good thing that has come out of this industry (and company) turbulence is a more informed (and INVOLVED) workforce, public, and media.
The troubles this industry and company have faced and continue to face have made many people focus on ways to make an airline efficient, as well as have an advanced understanding of airline economics.
Notably, I was impressed by the comment that the fall is the time of the year when leisure travel drops off, but biz travel picks up. This is part of the thinking that is starting to occur more and more among everyone in the industry.
Once again, I encourage you to ignore posts whose errors you are powerless to rectify.
Ignorance is bliss, IGNOREance is paradise.
Happy flying,
N230UA.
