like the vet school in Grenada...BTW at the vet school the students always are told to adopt a pet from a shelter to bring it with them..... sounds diabolical

I wonder if the medical school tells you to bring along someone you're not really attached to???

Anyway, back to the subject.....

Now I know I will be labled a malcontent or naysayer (or maybe I already have been) but here goes....

This is just more service that will be cancelled from records without protection for no real apparent reason. Anyone who has worked queues in international, or in inventory as a codeshare specialist knows what I mean.

What is stopping us from buying a minority stake in one of these carriers and bringing them into the fold as an Express affiliate? Give them the same paint scheme and sychronize the schedules a little better. The synergy from providing all the res, ticketing, and other services could actually generate some extra revenue. Obviously it would be a small venture and not at all comperable to the LH/LX venture but LH will make money by providing services to LX. Why cannot we do the same in the caribbean and add some uniformity in the standards of service?
Oh I know we have no uniformity or high standards now, but at one time did we not win some JD Power, or other awards for excellent service?

If I were not leaving the company soon I would like to see and participate in a huge grass roots movement of employees showing up at CCY and demanding that we see a return on our sacrifices. As of yet I've seen none.

Wow, what a rant, and all because our little codeshare partner added some Dash-8 flights to a little island....Obviously I need another valium.

BTW Bob, thanks for your patronage but if I were you all I would change the name of your group back to the cockroaches. I would imagine that FFOCUS was suggested by someone at corporate because it projects a positive image.

But FFOCUS backwards is SUCOFF and despite all your dedication and hard work to keep jobs and a once great carrier in the air sometimes I feel like the joke is on you all.... but I do appreciate the patronage...
