More proof that consolidation is coming, and not just in the U.S. market, it is coming globally. Three alliances, and most carriers that have 'legacy' business models will belong to one of them.

Just as the big airlines have formed into 3 main alliances in the U.S. (UA/US, DL/CO/NW, AA/AS), Europe is turning into 3 main alliances (AF/KL/AZ, BA/IB, LH/SK/OS/BD/JK/LX apparantly).
