Supreme Court Judges deserve raise.

That is a mischaracterization of the article. Roberts did not say that HE could not keep up with inflation. Rather, he noted that out of all federal employees, only judges are denied a COL adjustment in 2009. I agree with Roberts that federal judges should, at very least, receive a COL adjustment.

D-I-S-A-G-R-E-E ! Let me tell you something sir. The federal court judges are the people that have consistently over the last twenty years helped to undermine the laws that are supposed to protect workers rights. No sir. I think they should have a taste of the medicine that's being forced down the throats of families in the U.S.

They interpret the law not undermine.NLRB is one of your big time underminers of worker rights if you noticed.

Why should they not get raises? All government employees get raises every year. Not these judges.

It is one of things that government employees enjoy out of the many lousy things that exist in those jobs.

If you want to get the raises the government enjoys, go here and look. There are many openings.

I think it is funny when people complain about the judges, and then turnaround and not want to pay to retain and attract quality judges. It is like taking your car to the cheapest mechanic in town, and then complaining when the work is shoddy. Moreover, they are only asking for what EVERY OTHER FEDERAL EMPLOYEE IS RECEIVING, a COL adjustment.

Tech, you're just like the folks who make the same old comment "if you don't like your job, go get another".
That is so unrealistic when you are talking to 20-25 plus year employees.

I have no sympathy for a judge making $217,400 a year who can't get a cost of living raise when
I'm dealing with $40,000 a year and cannot get any kind of raise over a six year period.
Do you think he cares? He and his ilk can go cry elsewhere.

I guess you should have set your goals a little higher and become a judge........................

So, as the saying goes; I'm not happy unless you're not happy.

I had the same problem as an AMT in the airline industry. Every time a got a raise, they took it back (and then some) the next go around. I was a 20 year airline guy.

I left.

Now I get COLA raises every year...
