Since this is survivor night and the show seems to still be going strong. I've approached Mark (the producer) and he has agreed to start taking applications from CA Aviation members for an upcoming Survivor show to be taped in Tuk.
There will be mucho helicopter action, with many challenges relating to the industry. Challenges such as who can hold a stable hover the longest, who can dive deep under the arctic ice and overhaul an allison governor while holding their breath, and the best will be a team effort to preheat a 61 and fire it up to operating tempuratures the fastest.....etc.
All that is needed is a 5 star sleeping bag and warm winter mitts. The rest will be provided by local Inuit who will help show the contestants how to live off the land and how to keep beer cool, yet unfrozen in the coldest climate in canada.
Every three days one member will be voted off and they will be banished to banks island for eternity.
Any members here who are interested should keep your eyes open for the official application form that will be available soon.

It will be a bit cold for the bikinis.

:cold: :cold: :cold:

What if Sue Hawk is his engineer, do you think it might make him a tad nervous?

And then there will be the betting pool on how Jeff Prost will injure himself this time.

:blur: :blur: :elvis:

throw in the ol' 47 on bags i had up there so many years ago and i am in!!!!

i bet tuk ain't changed much either........

Count me in, as long as I can bring a bottle of my favorite single-malt for barter/bribery.

Funny thing about Tuk, they are actually thinking of moving the town due to sea errosion, My vote would be to move it to Mexico, or 5 miles west of it's present location... 😀

Could be very interesting!, Tell the producer to wait for mosquito season, that will separate the wheat from the chaff pretty quick. Could be the fastest survivor ever.

Provide a fishing line a hook and a container of worms and pack WP matches, and a shovel.

Low cost!

I wanna see'em follow these habits under those conditions.

Survivor? more like "run like hell", and don't leave your Johnston out too long!

Your comment about the governor overhaul made me almost pee my self.

Brilliant!

I will refrain from being a contestant on said production. I was involved in the last "production" in the early 70's and I refuse to get involved again with "Green Beaver" shooters, "Depth Charges or indulge in "Coyote arm" anymore. To this day, I will not enter into any place called "The Zoo" because the animals inside might lead me astray again. Besides, I'd have a hard time these days trying to stick a marshmellow in a piggie-bank" anyway.

If by some miracle they should move Tuk, I would suggest that it be moved to the outskirts of Tijuana and there people can make a production of what some "animals can do on stage"......'cause I know what they can do at the tables.

Five Star sleeping bags someone mentioned? Geez, I never could do half that "production" in a bloody sleeping bag.

I'm in, I may not be able to hover as well as some of you, but I will defenitely try. Keeping the beer cold will be no problem for me, afterall I have spent the last 2 months taking that course here in school! 😀
