His lawyer was asked if a president should be immune if he turned to the military (SEAL team 6) to have a political rival assassinated and the answer was "yes" . Even if something "crosses a line". Didn't have to be the military. If a president had full immunity, he can hire a hit man to do the work. AFter all...he's immune....even if it crosses the line. Well...technically, no president prior to Trump has refused to concede an election and they certainly didn't use a lot of inflammatory speeches to encourage people to do what they did on January 6. And while he never said "attack the capitol", he DID invite people to come on January 6 and said "it will be wild". Now, my definition "wild" isn't listening to an hour long rambling speech.

And telling people for two months that an election was stolen, then on that last day telling them that need to "fight like hell" because if they don't - they will lose their country. YOu might not have noticed this, but folks support Trump tend to fancy themselves as "patriots" . And when a patriot is told never give up....when a patriot is told to fight like hell....when a patriot is warned that they will lose their country..why that just might motivate some patriots to take action.

Word's have power and I'm sorry, but after an hour of rhetoric the word "peaceful" really carries no weight. By the way - When I heard Trump express his disappointment in Mike Pence, I thought to myself that he just signed Pence's death warrant. Other's must have thought that too because they built a gallows and were chanting "hang Mike Pence". Where did they ever get THAT idea. Wait...nevermind. BLM
