With their membership in the Arab League suspended, Turkey threatening to turn off power to parts of the country, other countries pulling out diplomatic staff I wonder how long the Assad clan can hold out?

The Arab League is putting the screws to Syria. I have a sneaking suspicion that the memebers of the Arab League would like nothing more than to see a close freind of Iran collapse.

See Kuwait collapsed today.

it remains to be seen what happens in Kuwait after the resignation of the prime minister and most of his ministers.

When it comes to Syria and Kuwait, the US and Europe need to BUTT OUT and allow them to work it out amongst themselves. Sell them weapons? Absolutely!! Both sides! Cash and Carry!

UUUUGGGGGHHHHH, one cannot sell weapons to people and then pretend you are not involved.

Hey someone has to test them!!!

While we may be involved we are not Committed. There is a difference!

Take a Bacon and Eggs Breakfast.

The chicken is "Involved"
The Pig is "Committed"

Selling Syria and/or the insurgent weapons is involved
Boots on the ground and nation building is committed.

Given out interventionist hostory I'd be happy of we dialed it backl to involved.

Hey, hey......you guys are forgetting........Samantha Power is a big proponent of the "responsibility to protect" doctrine.....also was key in bending Barry's ear to go into Libya.....Hillary too. So why then we not killing Syrians?

Looks like they are burning the red, white and blue in Syria. Except it's not our red, white and blue.

The US has closed it's embassy in Syria. China and Russia have vetoed a UN resolution on the subject. Looks like the shoe will be on the other foot soon.

I Assad does manage to supress the revolt Syria is going to be one big powder keg. Unfortanetly the longer this goes on the more radicalized people will become.
