Ted Cruz Announces

It's gonna cost a lot of money to fight them over there.  You willing to spend it?  Will the debt still matter?  I've looked in my world atlas and I can't find the country of ISIS....how do we eradicate them without a lot of "collateral damage", which may well stir up even MORE support for them?
The question you should ask is he willing to send more US troops into the hornets nest over there and all that it brings. Funerals, crippling injuries, PTSD, over taxing an already strained VA system etc.

This "war on terror" is very similar to the "war on drugs". There is no one home base for either, yet we have and will throw money at them to make it seem like we are doing something.

Until we stop the want of each, we will win nothing.

Carpet bombing places where there are a few ISIS fighters embedded will cause mass casualty of innocents and breed hatred from those who now support what we are doing.

That decision never has civilian input until after the fact.

Exactly. Like lets wait till some Muslims fly jets into some buildings, count the bodies then do something....

Funny you mention that. US General on TV this morning talking how effective, capable, well organized and planned ISIS is and how much of a concern their viability is in our own regard. He also expressed serious concern over the fact that Libya doesn't have a government and has enormous oil wealth just sitting there plus 3000 well equipped ISIS soldiers there too.

Do you know how to turn 3,000 ISIS members into 6,000?  Bomb them.  Hit a few families that weren't all that thrilled to have ISIS in the neighborhood in the first place, write them off as "collateral damage"...and pretty soon their survivors will go "ISIS isn't great, but they didn't kill my kids...the great satan did, if I have to choose sides, might as well partner up with the ones who are as pissed at the ones who killed my family".

maybe if some lunatic working for them shows up at a Royals game and decides he wants to meet some virgins and blows himself and a few hundred of your friends and neighbors with him you'll stop making such asinine statements like you can't find them on the map.

Where is the country of ISIS.  The nearest I can find is that it's somewhere in the middle east.  They are living next to people that might not care much for them, but if we carpet bomb them (as Ted proposes), odds are that we MIGHT hit a few of those folks who didn't like them in the first place.  And not only does ISIS die, THEY die.  And the US has this nasty habit of referring to stuff like that as 'collateral damage'.  How do we carpet bomb ISIS and avoid "collateral damage"......or as I like to call it - ISIS recruitment?

It is available the territory they occupy......I believe you know that. You are correct that is not a country, but they occupy and are growing by leaps and bounds a vast area. Sure, its not all occupied like the Eu or USA, but nonetheless, they are growing.

And what of all the military aged males in seemingly very good physical shape migrating to the Eu?
Could this migration to the Eu be an Islamic Trojan Horse?

Why don't we save them the trouble and just bomb the daylights out of all of that.  We can show this to the families of the people we kill and tell them that we were only helping them out.  I'm sure that they would understand.

Or look the other way...if we don't piss them off, they probably won't mess with us.......

Are you aware they want to expand the business to good old USA?

Jesus Christ, we might have to start personal carry in lieu of quick police response times.....to survive.

Good idea to limit access to assault weapons, especially if it hits the fan.

Heck dude, you've been in your bunker since 2008 protecting you and yours from the 2011 depression, us turning into Greece, Obama taking away your guns, serializing your ammo, blowing up interest rates, the fed taking over the USA, Iran going nuke on Isreal, Trump going postal...

Wait...

😉

Would it be okay if some other country feared that Minnesotans were planning on taking their way of life into their part of the world started bombing St Paul to help prevent it?
