Thanksgiving--Christmas?

I can't speak for other groups, or even my own. But the sense I get from the pilots is that we would rather skip the free meals in return for honoring our contracts without having to resort constantly to grievances and arbitration. Of course, this management group would promise exactly that, then deliver the exact opposite. On another thread someone said it quite accurately and clearly. They are liars and thieves and looking to ingatiate themselves on the cheap. We are not that gullible.

can we possibly archive this so that next year when the pilot group is excluded, we know why??

I'd like to say all sorts of good things about the Company and holidays. Here's the one thing good I have to say: Whoever in Corporate made the decision to provide meals to all employees on these days THANK YOU!

As to the food at LAS, Flatbreadz makes one hell of a good Southwest turkey sandwich. The Thanksgiving dinner was poor to disgusting. I skipped it this year when I found out the food was the same on Christmas (and I HOPE it wasn't Thanksgiving leftovers!!!) Dump that crappy catering company and get something decent. Some stations get Boston Market, but we get some low rate, low quality slop. There's something not right there.

Did you even READ the first line of my post? (Of course, I can't really say what I would like to without getting a note from the moderator.)

Archive away. Maybe the next time the company denies something from you that your contract guarantees, they'll give you a turkey sandwich. I imagine you'll be happy with that.
