Cross Utilizing Avionics on the O/H Docks has begun.
Now if Avionics completes their assigned work early, they can be assigned to perform General Mechanics work.

I know you line guys are going to smart off, but you do not work here so you will not understand. Let the company manage, don't manage from your toolbox.

I edited my post.

And no they are not merging until negotiations are complete.

When contractual language appears, then there is no problem with the change.

Or the term sheet gets implemented.

Considerable amount, from those that I've talked to. It's generally easier work-er easier on the ol body. Which is why I wanted to start there when hired in back in Sept(i know, good luck w that)Immed nixed, even tho my hire position stated "avionics". I have a genuine interest there.
Fascinating...

Those 1D dockers have been the trend setters since their inception.

Really, the term sheet will be the new contractual language, really?

Avionics was never contract language. In the line it is all by LOA. The term sheet eliminates all the LOAs regarding avionics branch. How it exists in TUL I have no idea. If you look in the contract there is a job description for AMT and in the QAM for both avionics and generals but every Class I does it differently.
