Job Title Aircraft Maintenance Tech
Duties and Responsibilities GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager perform routine maintenance and inspections to Company operated aircraft and associated support equipment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES:


1. Perform inspections and routine preventative maintenance and repairs as directed on company aircraft and equipment. All work performed will exceed the minimum standards as defined in FAR 43.
2. Maintain technical qualifications required for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Technician through company sponsored training programs and personal initiative.
3. Complete all necessary paperwork including aircraft log entries on time, accurately, and in a legible manner. Official log entries will be in compliance with all applicable Federal requirements with respect to form and content.
4. Exercises sound troubleshooting techniques, decision-making skills and utilize organizational skills to maximize effectiveness.
5. Provide assistance to the Maintenance Manager, when required. Including new and innovative ideas to enhance the teams overall effectiveness.
6. CIGNA maintenance technicians work schedule varies with the aircraft schedule. There are no fixed shifts you must be flexible.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education


High School Graduate or equivalent
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (A & P) Experience Requirements
Two years recent General Aviation maintenance experience.
One year of experience on turbine powered equipment.
Desired Qualifications:


Good written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work well with others.
Factory training and experience on aircraft type.
Familiarity with the computerized maintenance tracking system.
Experience in aircraft electric and avionics maintenance.
Possess FAA Inspection Authorization. (IA)
Prior corporate aircraft maintenance experience.
