Okay, everyone, there have been a great number of threads/post kvetching about what Tempe has not done right since merger.
Sooo...how about a positive thread?

Here are some suggestions:
Profit sharing (which employees are likely to see for 2010r).
Payouts based on DOT stats.
Improvements to QIK/SHARES.
Putting the airline to bed by 1400 EST on Thanksgiving, allowing most employees to have (or most thereof) the day off.

Please, no negative comments!

This a a classic case of the Stockholm Syndrome. please seek help now. 😱

Well, given that the F/A profit sharing is on the backs of the east flight attendants I'm not very happy and frustrated with the union who agreed to this give away. But as far as the company, we're still in business.

Profit sharing as something management has done right? YHGTBSM! Profits are the result of the work of the front-line employees, and nothing else. The sharing part is the result of collective bargaining.

DOT stats? Really??? Like management has anything at all to do with that?

Improvements to QIK/SHARES? Yeah, baby. Polish that turd. Now, you have a shiny turd.

Ops over at 1400 on Turkey Day? Only because there was no one to fly on the airplanes later. Strictly a stop loss measure. Had NOTHING to do with getting employees home. I may recant this one if the airline goes to bed at 1400 on Christmas Day, also.

That goes for the pilots' profit-sharing, too. But, at least, we dumped the union that gave it away.

I've made peace with the profit sharing thing... It took awhile...
I can't believe the new hires on the West will earn 4k less than their East counterparts the first year, and what's up with the food bank thing in PHX?

Um well? I guess  Put pleather on the Y-Class cabin and replaced the cloth?

Didn't take long for people to crap all over this topic. Once those people leave the company it might be a decent place to work.

Who management? Oh wait, your talking about the frontliners that actually keep the lights on and planes moving? Ohhhhhh gotcha. 🙄

Oh and as for 'keeping the lights on' at this joint I am extremely happy to still have a job. For that I say, 'Thank You' to BRUCE LAKEFIELD! ! ! ! Nobody else. 😉

I can think of NOTHING. except LIE and STEAL.
definet Stockholm syndrome...

and proft sharing was for the billions we gave them.

It just goes to show you how BAD morale is at this airline....

And, if I have to hear ONE MORE TIME a cry about the West flight attendants making less AN HOUR (opperative words) I am going to spit!!
For the last time... The West vacation and sick package has a much HIGHER DOLLAR VALUE than the East does...
If you want our pay rates, you get our 70% sick pay and our concessionary vacation!!! OK?
Both contracts have a pretty EQUAL dollar value... it is just allocated in different areas...... Why is this SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?????????????
