As for Joys in my life, I've got 3 Great Granddaughters 2-3-5, and all of Flawless(beauty). The 3 year old looks EXACTLY like a Norwegian child, Blondest of Blond hair, Sky Blue Eyes and and a NY attitude.

My second Joy, is to get a Government Very Organized Labor Friendly, get the Federal Minimum wage Raised to $15 per hour, NOT like the abortion in Oklahoma AND NH, of $7.25 per hour ! And get to watch the F WALTONS and Jeff Bazos SQUIRM due to constant Sleepless nights ! Finally, a Federal Expanded National Railroad system, similar to the Railroads of western Europe !!

Lastly La', in the Joy section. I Hope and Pray that LIMBAUGH lasts' until 11/04/2020 !!

I've been around for a long time, and with my Paternal side, ALL being from NYC, then long island, I've been use to those prices forever.

It never bothered me, because I made adjustments along the way.

Never lost one minute of sleep over it neither.

It does not matter if you raise minimum wage from $7.25 to $15.00 an hour because by the time the smoke clears (market correction) your $15 an hour has no more buying power than your $7.25 did.

What are you basing success on when you list Norway, Denmark, and Iceland.

You said a couple of weeks ago they made socialized medicine work and I showed you where every one of them cut their healthcare budgets despite taking on immigrants and population growth.

So less money for more people. But those taxes don't go down.

You are also ignoring the fact that they pay outrageous taxes in comparison to the United States so how much of that money do you think the employees actually take home?

If I made 100 dollars and pay 20 percent taxes (80 dollars in my pocket) and you make 500 dollars and pay 90 percent taxes ($50 in your pocket) which one of us is actually making more money? Me, because I am taking home 80 dollars. See how that works?

I suspect a lot of what you read is pushing a leftist agenda. Even if that is true it is not because they have a superior healthcare system. We have cheap food in this country and an appetite for processed food. Remove obesity resulting from our cheap, processed food and I assure you we would shoot up that list really fast. Diabetes is becoming so common as to be an epidemic. Again, due to diet choices. In fact the Indian hospital here (as in Native American) has made special provisions just to deal with diabetes. THAT is how bad it has gotten.

How do you measure happiness? That alone makes me question the validity of your "statistics".

Prosperous? The United States is the richest country in the world. Not only is it the richest, the rest of the world uses OUR currency to trade on the international market. We would be much more so if our government would stop allowing welfare riders and make them get up off their ass and support themselves. Not to mention the BILLIONS of dollars we give in aid every single year.
