First off, in one of my previous post I made reference to guilt verses responsibility.
Second I was referring the the US and the fact that I am a US citizen. If we are going on ancestry they we are all (except Native Americans) responsible for our forefathers actions else where in the world.
More to the point. I am a US citizen and I feel that I must accept responsibility (ownership) of the actions taken my this country. I am not guilty (not meant as a pejorative) of the actions but I am a US citizen. I cannot just wash my hands of slavery just because I was born after the abolishment of it and the passing of the Civil Rights Act. It is still part of the US of which I am a citizen.
Now dell,..............Your taking-in the part about...............Native Americans. RIGHT ???
Another GOOD Post 'Tree !
