While perusing Barnes and Noble.com(I'm an admitted B+N junkie), I came across/reserved a copy of this book. It looks to be an "interesting" read.

Author: Sidney Blumenthal
ISBN # 13-9781402757891

In part 1; Monologues of Mark Foleys E-Mails

Please, "give us a break" ! The Author is the senior editor of the NATIONAL REVIEW for Gods sake.
Talk about "fair and balanced".

Oh, you mean fair and balanced like 'U' like it...

Good ole Sidney and 'The New Republic'....

Whoa dude....El Sid .....wasn't he one of BJ Clinton's hit men during Penisgate?

He should be awarded hero status.....

It's like CNN, if you have to tell me you have the 'best political team on TV" or what ever that nauseating little tag line is, you probably don't.

FOX came up with their little tag line because everyone knows there are partisan. If you have to tell me you are "fair and balanced", there is usually a reason for that.

About the only thing I can say at this moment about the book(I haven't read it yet), is that if the author makes factual statements born/borne out by proof, then it makes NO matter who the author is ! Correct ??

As a side note, the loathsome Tom De-Lay was quoted today as saying, No matter what the outcome of Obama/mcCain, that the Gop was Surely going to Lose even More congressional members above and beyond their 2006 "failures" That my friends certainly sounds like a DYING party to me !

The deems reek of anti God everything to the point we owe Sodom and Gomorrah apologizes. Anyone who subscribes to such thinking will get exactly what they reap.

The GOP has fallen lost souls just like the Deems, the difference is the deems celebrate their depravity with in your face anti-God policies.

God will not be mocked. Putting your faith into the deems is mocking the one and only God.

Hope you like salt.

personally i think your making overly large generalizations about the democratic party ... yes there are that type that you describe in it , and their voice has been magnified beyond proportion of what i think it should be ....

But i also think there's a large god loving population within the democratic party that is stuck in that party because this is what you have ...

republican party ='s corporate america / relgious right

democratic party ='s small bussniess / liberal attitudes ...

if you could take the small bussiness , individual concerns from the democatic party and merge them with the moral view of the republican party you'd have a new party stronger and more popular than both of what we now have .
