SSA too.....there was never a law passed to charge retirees to pay for part of their Medicare from what I read in the past.

Sounds to me as if they all had Visa’s to be legally in the US but they likely didn’t have “work” visa’s? So if they were in the US on visitor visas and they were working in the US that would make them illegal and deportable.

The additional total standard deduction for Seniors of $8,000 should easily cover anyone who has to pay Taxes on their SSA earnings. I’d bet money that the additional $6,000 from the BBB will get extended when it gets close to the finish line.

And that’s why they have a MAHA movement now. If Americans were healthier we wouldn’t be paying as much as we do for medical care.

The Government should ban Cigarettes and Soda first.
