I for one am opposed to the term scab. A scab provides a useful function, to allow an injury to heal while preventing infection.

These, whatever they are, are more aptly called Termites, as they cause rot from the inside out, ultimately destroying their own dwelling place.

I don't believe in calling people names anyhow, but if you do, please be appropo.

This posting is for all who want to know about the SCABS in Arizona. As I sit here and type this there are 2477 mechanics ready for deployment. There is another 423 still in training. Their training will be complete this month. I sit here in my hotel waiting for NW Mechs to strike so I can get my deployment orders or for NW Mechs not to strike so I can go home. It makes no difference to me which way it goes. However I must tell you this, if you strike you might or might not go back to work. Whichever way it goes for you I do know you will not return as a union worker. Unions are going the way of the dinosaur and if you do not believe this you are a fool.
Also do not believe for a minute that these mechs here are drug-up losers like you are lead to believe. Dont think for a minute that this training is for us to learn how to work on aircraft. All we are doing here is taking Gen-Fam and ground support courses which is required by the FAA for any new employees. Every new site I go to I have to take these courses. Every mechanic here carries a valid FAA A&P license. I have worked with many of these men and they are very good at their jobs. There are forty people in my class they all carry an A&P, twelve have college degrees, two have comercial pilots license, four have private pilots license and five have their IA. If you think these are a bunch of hodge-podge mechanics thrown together you are badly mistaken. These are men that perform heavy c and d checks and heavy mods on a regular basis. I assure you that they can more than handle a little line maintnance and a couple of turnarounds.
Gentlemen if you think this is going to be a short easy strike you can quit kidding yourselves. NW has already spent 32 million on this project and they have budgeted 120 million plus they are willing to go higher if neccesary.
Well NW mechanics my class is going to soon start so I must go. I wish you all the best of luck.

p.s. can someone e-mail me the e-mail address of the fool reporter on rescue 4 under cover? We watch him over and over at the bar and laugh our a**es off at his incredibly biased reporting. I sure would like to give him an earfull.

real funny thing here...your pal and lover KTO has claimed most of your replacement workers are ex EASTERN and UAL......
1900 some replacements who were active union members a few years back???
says loads about the fate of unionism..... 😉
are these people really scabs or are they realists??
dwindling membership, people who can't take care to try to control their monetary future and would rather leave it up to someone else......
ex eastern....wow...these guys walked and shut down another airline.....makes one think.
these people put their faith into their labor leaders and did what the leaders told them to.
what did it get them??
blind faith??
what inspired them to apply as replacements, these once active proud union members??
what do you think??? greed...i don't think so....maybe some will say.
is it an active support of union ideals?? nope.....
maybe after all is said and done you'll find they feel they were let down.....
but of course theres no chance of that. 😉

Delldude I honestly think you have a multi-personality disorder. You are so confused about who or what you are. I don't see how you function in society. Are you on one of those government programs where the feds pay a company to hire you?

you sure you haven't been in front of that mirror in the hotel bathroom a little too long?

The outfit maintaining the tsa system in my station is paying $24 an hour though they have high turnover. They wanted the airline to do it but the co. doesn't want the headache. We are compelled to pay $1.10 a bag for maintenance for about a 30% tie in with our system. A lot of the time we end up doing the work because they have no help. With our concessions we are $1.50 higher than what NW is offering, and thats not even a/c maint. Why would anyone live in a hotel and work for basically a wage they can get at any reputable car dealers service shop? And be branded a scab?

You go work at a car service shop.
I was here for the Gen-Fams and money. You idiots weren’t supposed to strike. Now I’m here to do what ever I can to bring AMFA down. I was just supposed to be in ARIZONA for two months. Now I'm here because you AMFA idiots had to go on a strike you cannot win. YOU CANNOT WIN, YOU POOR FOOLISH FOOLS.

KTO, you must really be in need of a life. You've only been here for 3 weeks? Yet you already have 266 posts. Wow. I think that's a record.

I'm not in AMFA, nor do I work for NW. I have to go to work now, they actually expect me to fix stuff, not play with the computer. Have a nice weekend in bed with the curtains drawn and a bottle.

Yeehaw, wait till the guys at Jiffy Lube hear I got me a real aereoplane fixing job. I better git me down to walmart and pick up a new pair a vice grips and a new pen. Aw, shucks I don't need no new vice grips. I sure hopes that red and grey pickup stops by here to let me hop in back to run me out to the airport. Supervisors get to ride up front out of the rain.
