I think people are starting to realize that stations like MSNBC and FOX are a big part of the political problems we face. Both stations ae for the zealots of their respective sides. They make compromise and discussion between the moderates of each party all but impossible. If either side makes a move to the center, FOX or MSNBC pundits and their respective followers freak the phuck out and go ape chit. These stations give the likes of Sharpton and Norquist and Jackson and others a pulpit from which to spew their ignorance.


I think if FOX and MSNBC could be marginalized perhaps something could get done. Failing that, at least the BS that they call news would not have to be suffered by the rest of us.


May be Al-Jezera can give these idiots a run for their money or even shut them down. Here's hoping.

While is dislike his tendency to throw gasoline on the fire of the right wing hate machine flame, he has done some admirable charity work. May of the talk show types that we love to hate do a great deal of charity work. I cannot take that away from them. Kudos for that.
