This should improve Hillary's chances in 2016...

And 9-11 along with the disaster that is called Iraq happened under GWB so what's your point?
I guess you're right. The media didn't remind people for the past 10+ years that it was all Bush's fault...

Oh, snap.....

In the case of Iraq it is his all his fault.  Did Republicans in congress launch nine separate hearings on what happened in Iraq?  I don't think so.

There was a cover up?

There was no need to cover anything up -- between the Kerry Campaign and the media, there were no stones left unturned by the 2004 elections.

There were hearings, mainly held in the run-up to the 2004 elections.

I'll agree with 777 that there weren't nine separate hearings, but there's good reason for that...

There were fewer hearings because those who were called to testify actually showed up, and all the information that was asked for was provided when it was asked for.

The bigger point is that during all those 2004 hearings, I don't recall any potential candidates for higher office saying "what difference does it make?" when testifying, nor do I recall the media carrying water for Bush's foreign policy and positioning it as being more important than covering the deaths of soldiers under fire.

I recall a certain Secretary of Defense saying  "As you know, you go to war with the Army you have. They're not the Army you might want or wish to have at a later time." when asked by a member of the Tennessee National Guard why they were having to scrounge for scrap metal to up armor their vehicles.

Matthew Burke:

Hillary Clinton isn’t new to the lying game.

The 2016 Democrat presidential hopeful has a long history of lies, cover-ups, obstructions and character assassinations, all for political greed. And she didn’t start down that path with the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attacks.

Jerry Zeifman, an admitted lifelong Democrat, was Hillary Clinton’s supervisor as she worked on the Watergate investigation. Zeifman fired Clinton from the investigation and refused to give her a letter of recommendation for a new position. Zeifman was the counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee during the Nixon investigation.

Zeifman explained, describing the reason for the firing and refusal to recommend the 27 year-old Hillary Clinton,”Because she was a liar.” He added, “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer,”

“She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality,” Zeifman said, underscoring her complete disregard for ethics.

Zeifman explained that Hillary Clinton conspired to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation, in order to keep Howard Hunt from testifying about “the goods on nefarious activities in the Kennedy Administration.”

Hillary Clinton engaging in self-serving practices regardless of any ethical considerations?

Hillary Clinton constructed the “nuts and sluts,” campaign, a real “war on women” against the victims of her husband, fellow Democrat Bill Clinton’s unwanted sexual advances (see: Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broaddrick).

As the Obama Secretary of State, she denied several requests for additional security in Benghazi, Libya, by “her friend,” Ambassador Christopher Stevens, who was left to brutally die, along with Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith and Glen Doherty.

If Hillary Clinton would leave her “friend” to die for political greed, America can only wonder what she would do as president to her political enemies.

She knowingly lied at the funeral services before the nation and the family of the  fallen victims of the Benghazi terrorist attacks, blaming it on a YouTube video, rather than a planned terrorist plot.

Hillary Clinton’s long history of political greed and corruption didn’t begin with Benghazi, but hopefully it will end there.

Republicans must be really worried about her running.  Her name is all you seem to hear on talk radio.

Was she actually fired?  Because the guy who claims to have fired her said in an other interview "If I had the power to fire her.  I would have fired her".  So he didn't have the power?

According to the Calabrese column as reported by TruthOrFiction.com, Zeifman said he regrets not reporting Rodham to the appropriate bar association.
So what are we to make of all this? Calabrese’s interview with Zeifman has been published around the Internet and repeated by pundits such as Rush Limbaugh and Neil Boortz. But there is nothing to out-and-out confirm Zeifman’s rendition. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t be true, but it makes it difficult to arrive at the truth

Hillary Clinton fired for lies, unethical behavior

Published by: Dan Calabrese on Wednesday January 23rd, 2013

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.
