US is selling tkt=s on the website using
"401 and not "037".

Our guess is because US East is going to be using HP computer system and soon 037 stock will be obsolete. Think about it. Who saved who??????

Actually, it was done with the switch to the HP website and system. Everything was probably already programmed for 401. Thats one reason (I'm sure) that they have the new "easy" reissue entry for invol when tickets arent issued on 401 stock. Now, it would just be nice to get Shares to pull over (Or Sabre to push) the ticket numbers with the reservations so it would work.
It is a pain right now and I cant imagine working in a city that doesnt have both computers. Some checkins/entries require the use of both sets of computers....
Oh, and the reason it was done this way without thought is because it doesnt affect the daily worklife of those who made the decision. :down:
