FLYGIRL, don't be so MYOPIC. Each workgroup is experiencing problems because of poor planning involved in the MERGER.

I would not necessarily say most of this is from poor planning. It may be a case where the integration teams identified an issue but chose to push forward regardless. I'm in the midst of working on a merger for another company, and we make choices like this every day. We've been very open with our employees, basically saying integrating two companies is like pulling a tooth out ... you can do it slow or you can do it fast, either way it will be painful. We've taken the "let's do it as fast as possible and get the pain over with as fast as possible" approach.
