Time to hedge?

Just thinking of all the rancor on this board back when the POR stated an assumption of $50/bbl oil. Now that oil is about $59/bbl, is it time to hedge?

(unofficially) speaking for AA, YES I'd hedge at $58, which it was just the other day.

I'll be shocked if prices don't go UP, after the Election.......AND if the GOP loses control of the US House, or Senate, or BOTH, The window for OBSCENE Oil Company profits will slam shut sooner rather than later !

I'd hedge now. With OPEC getting ready to cut production, prices will climb. Get in there and buy. just my thoughts.......

I get a feeling, that with the DEMOCRATS SOON to make inroads(Think control) in congress, that Oil prices May NOT shoot up, after the election, (as I first thought they Might)

There is NO doubt in my mind that the LOWER prices ARE due to the election, EXCEPT that the plan, will BACKFIRE on the GOP.

SO,

Since all of "our" respective carriers are in the same "Jet-A Boat", mabey a "wait and see" approach may be in order.
