The TWU, IT IS ALL ABOUT THEM, NOT YOU!! IT IS TIME FOR DECERTIFICATION OF THIS UNION...., THE TIME HAS COME...

WOW! Even the administrative secretarys are knocking down over a hundred grand a year plus bennies! Where do I sign up?!?!?

This union seems to be as executive/management heavy as the airline they bittch about. Your union dues are paying several million each year in salaries right off the top!

Sweet!

I don't think this even adds the sallary that they were recieving from whatever co. they were with before they went to the Intl.? Tim Gillespie was local 513 president 3 years ago before he went to the Intl. He would have made about $45,000 a year if he had come back to the ramp but this is saying he only makes $24,000? So actually he's probably making around $70,000 a year. What was Jim Littles sallary with AA before he went up and add that to his compensation. Wowza.

Old news, been fighting that one since the early 90's.

BTW...the website union facts is set up by a bunch of union-busters. For the real report go to the DOL....http://erds.dol-esa.gov/query/getOrgQry.do

Pull us the LM2 and see the free cars they give themselves, along with many other perks. <_<

Also the only way to decertify them is to replace them.

BTW, did anyone happen to notice that the local 514 LM-2 is 47 days delinquent? I wonder if there's a late fee?

There is NO decertification procedure under the Railway Labor Act.

Unfortunately, you don't know what you are talking about. The Northwest F/A, replaced their union, duhhhh. I believe 60% of the members have to /s/ cards, for decertification, in order for a vote. Get your facts straight....

LQQK, Nimrod. You need to open your your eyes. Look at the BOTTOM- What does it say? Hmmm, U.S. Department of Labor. (THAT IS WHERE THE INFORMATION CAME FROM) No wonder your AMFA lost the election, muchless, you mechanics, didn't even appeal the vote, or the decision- Not Hmmm, somebody has got a screw loose....

Actually he does know what he's talking about, because under the RLA there is no set "decertification" process. Replacing a union with a new union is different then holding a decertifying election that is allowed under the NLRA. When you try to decertify under the RLA, you still need to get 50%+1 of your craft and class to sign cards for a new union, and then not vote for any union at the election. Under the NLRA, you petition the NLRB for removal of the union, a little easier.

Below is tre link to decertifying a union through the NLRB.

Continue opening your mouth and you remove all doubt.

You're looking stupider by the post. There was no election at AA, but don't let facts get in the way, besides you like to get your facts from a union-busting website. I could careless where you think you are getting your information from, the bottom line is your post references unionfacts.com which is owned by a bunch of union-busters. Read up, educate yourself before posting, it might give you a little credibility.

the guy behind the site, Rick Berman, is a major league sleazoid who led attacks on Mothers Against Drunk Driving and has worked on union-busting for the right-wing Chamber of Commerce.

I am fully aware of the Union Facts.org site and who is behind it. But that does not negate the fact, that the information posted by the Department of Labor is true. Now does it? That was all that was quoted, it all comes from the same source....DOL.

Have I ever stated the info used does not come from the DOL, I simply stated "the website union facts is set up by a bunch of union-busters. For the real report go to the DOL....http://erds.dol-esa.gov/query/getOrgQry.do .' On which you decided to go off about Nimrods, AMFA votes that never took place, etc.

Now once again since you have acknowledged the site using the DOL's LM2's are a bunch of union busters, if you want the real info, which is much more incriminating against Little and the boys, go to the link I posted and pull down the LM2's. If you intend to circulate their salaries, it would be much more credible coming from the DOL directly than the union busters website. <_<
