After looking through the expenditures and salaries within the TWU, it's clear that there is a lot of waste, and bloated salaries. This can only be attributed to arrogance. Just seeing the data in black and white is enough to want to make you puke. If you haven't viewed the report yet, make sure you wait a bit - if you just finished eating.

Arrogance or Membership Ignorance?
How many members have seen this information?
How many after seeing this information really care?

Greed runs amuck, in Government, Corporations, and Labor Unions. Mostly because nobody knows or sees the truth. Then once seen, nobody believes they can do a damn thing about it. As bad as it sounds, I look forward to the day the greedy are without because those they stomped on for years will be completely without and they will then steal from the greedy that once had.

print it out and take it to your meeting ask them i did at the iam and they got mad

just like guys thimk twu going to get you what you want in your dreamthey are f...ing you infront of your faces

Has anyone noticed the lack of controversy on the Delta forums in regard to the M&R group in contrast to the majority of threads on the AA forums? Can you imagine just going to work, doing your job and going home to the family, free to pursue hobbies or whatever floats your boat without lamenting over the compulsory $652.80 a year we pay the self serving clowns with six figure/recession proof salaries?
This is a quote from the Delta site, which I agree with, from one of our more outspoken TWU officers: "Unfortunately most of todays leaders, once they get their $200k union salary along with the perks like free cars and more start thinking of the members as widjets instead of people. Nobody wants to step on anybodys toes, the good of the movement, and the workers comes second. If Union shops got great deals then they would not have to hire organizers-the unrepresented would come looking for them." The Delta mechanics are free to pursue union representation but have rejected the notion. I would be perfectly willing to see what life at AA would be like as a mechanic without union interference , knowing at the time of our choosing we could seek union representation.

Yes. It would be awesome!!! Free to fire at will the people sleeping, no laptops in the break rooms, no double shift and back to back CSs, people forced to cut their hair and wear their uniforms with shirts tucked in, unlimited outsourcing at the drop of a hat. AWESOME!!! Let's do it! Decertify now! Let the Company run everything because they know what's best for all of us.

Who is the clown?

Hey the union isn't perfect but your solution is wacked! You would probably the first person whining for a union when they started writing up.

So only clowns have no union representation, which happens to be what, 85-90% of the country? You sound like a proponent of big government claiming we, the people, are to stupid to manage our own affairs and desperately need big brother to protect us from ourselves. So what your really saying is TWU members can't make it on their own and need protection? As I have said many times, if I can make no positive contribution to this compAAny I should be fired. Seriously, you really think the compAAny would have their way with employees that report to work on time, who are productive, and professional? I'm willing to find out, as this union thing just isn't working for most of us. BTW, it appears the majority of the Delta folks claim the TWU is the clown, as they have rejected them several times.
