Usair hired security officers for about $7 an hour at PHL because of stolen luggage. They have vests on an they poke their heads in the belly while you load bags an watch you 24/7. Parker hired these security officers because the theft rate is out of control. The workers are getting paid such a low hourly rate they steal 24/7.
1. Parkers security
2. Using luggage to boost yourself in the aircraft.
3.ALL THE STOLEN LUGGAGE FOUND NEAR A WALL IN AN UNKNOWN LOCATION!!!
4. A mess all day on the ramp.
5.A unidentified man roaming under the wing.

I'll bet you anything the $7.00hr security team will be the biggest thieves.
You get what you pay for. When the service was good the workforce was
making a decent living, as their respect and wages in the workplace has
lessened so has the quality of the job performance.

These uniforms are special only to PHL workers for the hostile environment we work in.

I'd prefer those to our new jogging suits. They are very Kylie Minogue/Dr Who chic...

I’ll let Ben Klingston know about the security guard job opening. After 20 years at the Beaver Valley Mall, he’s just about had it with those skateboarding Center Township punks who don’t respect the uniform.

Ben’s ready to kick butt and take names later.

When Blackwater gets the boot from Iraq, PHL will be their next assignment....

Let's hope that no "Beavers" get abused!

7 dollar an hour security guards?????????? who the %^$# went and lost their damn mind??? Good luck finding an honest hard working American to do that job everyday .... These corporations working out of our airports are starting to make me sick to my stomach. Yeah , did they learn NOTHING from 9/11 ?, oh wait they DID , cost savings . How many security breaches are we going to be having ?? Every worker that comes into the airport and learns how it’s run , where it’s critical facilities are , what the security badges and protocols are is a potential leak . We must do something to stop the high rate of turnover of workers , for the simple fact that it’s not in our nation’s best interest to have every other person in the general population intimately familiar with our secure areas …

While I’m at it , let me throw out another word , it’s called BRIBERY , Now putting aside my own personal problems with us airways , let me take this moment to point out that when you pay workers so little they have no personal investment in their job , and they make so little that they are bitter and detached from society , this becomes a greater threat . Of course thou it will probably take something seriously major to make our society address the dangerously low wages paid to some of the workers in the secure areas of our nations transportation hubs . I shudder at the potential ramifications for the future because I can already see what’s happening today . Of course thou I can’t mention any of it because I’m morally and legally obligated to protect our airports :censored: which i would do even if not legally obligated .

Piney,

Just in case your business ever takes you "up here" MHT(my crib), and in the spirit of "calling em' as I see um', I must say that the TSA in MHT, are a ROYAL pain in the A$$, BUT that also means they're doing the job the way it's suppose to be done .

Just wondering out loud what wouldhappen if the local PHL media were to get hold of this
Nobody cares. All anybody wants is a cheap ticket. They don't care about anything else.

Now if all the airline groups got together picked a day for lets say a mental health day. Now that would get some attention.........that would take some unity.
