Like the Feds have nothing better to do.
Please show me which article of the Constitution has the Federal Government wasting tax dollars on this.
If they want to investigate this why not?
* Why most Wal-Mart cashiers cannot smile when checking you out?
* Why do I have to wait in line at the DMV so long?
* Why isn't my bank open 24 hours?
* Why does gas cost 7 cents a gallon more across the street?
My point is that the government needs to butt out and mind it's own business. The marketplace will sort all of this out in short order.

I believe the airline industry needs regulated.
It has been a spiral down hill since deregulation for the airlines.
Fuel prices are out of control, airlines are dumping pensions and retirment medical, and there is a race to the bottom in labor costs, and the vast majority still they can not turn a profit
And still there is no increase in fares to accomodate out-of-control fuel prices.

There is also a race to the bottom in labor costs in high tech, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, and service. Does one suggest we regulate all these industries as well? I believe that was tried for decades in the Soviet Union and it led to economic collapse.
On the bright side tonight, the local news in CLT (NBC6) said nearly all customers they talked to in CLT were very complimentary of the folks that have taken the front line of the problems this weekend. Had one guy who had every right to be p!ssed (bag was in Connecticut, then with the delivery company, then returned by the delivery company, now missing completely), who talked about how nice everyone was he dealt with.
