That was without any doubt the worst 727-100 Landing I have ever seen...Actually that's the only 727-100 I have seen land 🙂

Remember, Meigs has/had a very short runway. It was not designed for the 727. Notice the TWE J31s.

I remember this, the plane then was placed on a barge then made its way several miles down Lake Michigan to the Museum of Science and Industry, where the plane now resides as a walk-through exhibit... it's way cool!
