UAL ramps up merger talks

I'm sorry but that statement was completely unnecessary.
TOO BAD!! For 3 months, there was respect and civility on the airplane. Americans only know how to behave when there is tragedy...sad but true. It's called COLLECTIVE THINKING!! We collectively CAUSE it to better our selves. While I wouldn't want people to die, it will take another event to humble the arrogance of the American human mindset that NEVER learns!!

Oh, And btw, I LIVED in NYC on that day and I can say the same for the big city mentality. It took THAT day to show the goodness in people. Sadly, memories are short and people are as uncaring and as selfish as ever. Then they all cry and whine about "How could this happen to us." Change the collective thought process and behavior and events like 9/11 wouldn't HAVE to happen.

I agree with you. Passengers would come on board thanking us for being there and they would use "please" and "thank yous"
Now it's "there used to be food...when did that go away? I paid 79 bucks for this flight and I think I should get a meal" or "no I'm not moving to accommodate a mom with her child"

I'm sorry but that statement was completely unnecessary.

Why are you "sorry"? No conviction to your comment? If you do not care enough to stand on the strength of your own convictions then please, keep it to yourself.
