Eye-opening truths/and or/lies:

-- Three years after the merger between US Airways(LCC Quote - Cramer on LCC - Stock Picks) and America West, it seems clear the deal was an overall success.

I think it's true but what do I know 😛h34r:

On the positive side, "our pilots are keeping this between themselves," Parker said.

Oh really???? I didn't know about 'this' until I came to these boards!

Thank God for double talk:
"We've had no customers see this affect them in the last three years. People read about it, but it hasn't affected our operations one bit."

And pure PR BS:
As for merging pilot groups, said USAPA president Stephen Bradford, "What the Delta and Northwest managements did in just a couple of months, US Airways management hasn't been able to do in over three years."

Do you really want me to comment on that half-arse comment? Delta bought NWA and will retain the Delta name. What's wrong with US/AW?

So Captain Stephen Bradford, Delta and Northwest have completed the seniority integration???????? I DON’T THING SO

Parker’s done a fantastic job  …. I don’t even need to explain it ….

As for the pilots … please that story is so old and the record so worn out from overuse no one cares anymore …

Delta & NW have done nothing more then what we did right after the merger which is agree to binding arbitration.

We all know how well that went.

Fantastic job? Guess that explains the pathetic operating cash flow of just $89 million for the first half of 2008, the smallest operating cash flow of the six legacy network carriers. For comparison, AMR's cash flow for the same period was 13 times greater than at US, or $1.154 billion.

You don't need to explain it? News Flash: Not much success there to explain.

Fantastic Job you're doing there, Brownie! 😀

With one notable difference.

The DL and NW pilots and the DL management already have a ratified joint contract before going to arbitration; something ALPA and the new US management couldn't accomplish in the two years between the merger announcement and the Nicolau award.

One other little minor detail: Pay Parity and a Unified Workforce

Foreign Concept to this group
