Police used pepper spray Thursday to subdue protesters trying to rush the Michigan state Senate after Gov. Rick Snyder and other Republican leaders announced they would press for quick approval of right-to-work legislation limiting union powers.
“When several of the individuals rushed the troopers, they used chemical munitions to disperse the crowd,” said Michigan State Police Inspector Gene Adamczyk. “It would be a lot worse if someone gets hurt and I failed to act.”

It's quite well done and for Hollywood it's pretty accurate historically speaking. Joe Kenahan was descendent for the Molly Maguires, Sid Hatfield was part of Hatfield Clan of the Hatfield/McCoy feud. This skirmish led to the battle of Blair mountain and then President Harding had to call out federal Troops to get between the miners and the state militia, Baldwins and local sheriff's deputies.

What does just crack me up no end is you get these ultra left wing types attacking the Tea Party as "Rednecks". How stupid! they have no idea that the striking miners at Blair Mountain all wore Red Bandana's to hide their faces and the local newspaper called them Rednecks. To me no greater honor then to be called a redneck as to me it means I'm a guy who stands up and strikes a blow for Liberty whether it be economic or social.
