What should be noted is that this was not a kind act of altruism on the company's part.
This was contractually mandated to occur by Nov. 1.
Also, the hiring was mitigated by the introduction of the new "talk to the computer" system (so they didn't have to hire as many people).
It doesn't sit right that the propaganda is saying "look at us, we're 'insourcing', aren't we nice patriotic people".
It smacks of being quite disingenuous.
Or maybe I'm just having a bad day.
