You sir, are correct. As long as the price of oil is over $75, US Airways has no choice but to shrink in order to stay afloat. Oil futures closed at $85.31 today on the NYMEX, and the 2010 budget for US Airways is based on oil staying at $75 or below.
Look for cutbacks to come at the end of the 1st quarter.
