You people like this, holding airline jobs most of your working life are in for the shock of your life when your see what's out there awaiting you and all your "fantasy" experience.
They paid A&P mechanics ten to thirteen dollars an hour and morons accept those wages and work for them. When you come around begging they will laugh your hind end out on the street again.
Better look at the world and see what's left to it for the working man that China didn't take away via greedy corporate America before you continue carrying that smug attitude.

Never said it was an airline job most of my life - only a small portion of my career has been with an airline.......aviation has many facets. And nothing, I repeat, nothing is a big shock. If you're smart, you learn very quickly that this is not a stable career and you sure aren't going to get rich.......not monetarily for sure. But if it's your choice, then it's your choice and you live with it and the results.
Who's begging for anything? Not me.
