US Airways merger hits one-year mark

I noticed a picture that Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball livery Boeing 757-2S7 ETOPS jet operated by America West Airlines N904AW went to Charlotte Douglas Int'l Airport. If this is true?

What's really funny is that when I right clicked on the photo for its location, this is the internet addy that showed up: http://images.news14charlotte.com/media/20...1-uglyplane.jpg

They named the photo "0221-uglyplane"!

For the record, though, that is not Charlotte. The tank farm is not that near a runway.

That would happen too many times. I can't tell you how many times I heard that on buses in and out of terminals AWA served. The good news is that this was a typo and was not pronounced as such in the broadcast on Channel 14.
