How about getting rid of some space we arent using? I know people have mentioned this before, but we just got rid (YEAH!) of the Air Midwest ops in TPA and now have 7 gates to work 27 mainline flights. Does anyone really think we need to be paying for 7 gates for 27 flights? Multiply this systemwide and I think there is quite a bit to be saved here. And no it isnt needed to keep the space just in case. There are plenty of open gates in TPA and WN is building a whole new building for themselves which will open up even more gates in a few months. Its just a waste of money unless you are going to add some more flights soon IMO.
