How many of you are tired of the insipid hold music that all US departments insist on playing for callers? Not sure if this "music" has a name but it's repetitive and boring. How about the old pan flute music? OR maybe some Vivaldi or something. Just askin'.

You sure you want to complain about the current music? The replacement might come out of the bargain bin at the Rogers Sale. 😱

I wish we had the pan flute music back. I'd like someone post a WAV so we can all enjoy it.

I have this on a .wav file, but when I tried to attach it, I received the dreaded "this file is too big to upload. If you PM me with your e-mail address, I'll e-mail it to you, and you can figure out how to post it.

I have to leave work now to go eat my apples and honey like a good Jewish girl, and will not be checking e-mail again until some time tomorrow.

If you really want to hear some annoying stuff, listen to the SWA hold recording. A rapping ramper along with some other trailer park advertising. I was on hold to list for a non-rev trip, and it took all that I had to stay on the line.

The new music will state "Use USAIRWAYS.COM, Its SO EASY A CAVEMAN CAN USE IT!"

The pan flute music, while very nice and catchy, is of the East and must there be wiped from memory! 🙄

I would prefer to think of it as "Heritage Music." It puts me in the mood to fly US. In fact, I just booked a US flight after listening to the pan flute music. It's hypnotizing.

And just when I thought we couldn't #### about anything more inconsequential. Whose up in arms about the font on the boarding passes?

Perhaps,

Oh Lord its hard to be humble.
When you're perfect in every way.

Over and over for fifteen minutes, would brainwash the caller.

On the one hand that could be considered a GOOD THING. If hold music is all we have to be upset about, then things must be going right all around....

HAHAHAHAHAHA, ok everyone can bust out laughing now, no need to keep a straight face any more.

Any it would be nice if the GATE NUMBER were a teensy bit bigger on the boarding passes. Just sayin...

Some suggestions for the new hold music....
"Whaddaya Want From Me"
"Baby, I Like It"
"Telephone"

"TRANSFORMATION" was a fitting theme song during the Stephen Wolf Era at the airline when US did have a sense of STYLE and CLASS. When Team Tempe and their Business Casual BS rode EAST like a reverse PONY EXPRESS, the airline LOST it's appeal with most High ticket travellers and the Hybrid Airline (Full Service yet LCC) emerged. I'll cast my vote for the "Ringling Brother's theme song under The Big Top". It just doesn't seem appropo listening to "Transformation" sipping wine in F/C from a plastic party cup.

In all fairness to current US management, the plastic party cups were in existence before the merger. IIRC, HP served their F beverages in glassware until shortly after the merger.
