US Airways Revenue from United Deal Strong

UA reduces it schedule...."Oh we are going to have to rebook you on this flight, which is operated by US Airways."

I don''t think U will mind.

Will it pay dividends as UA announces 12% reduction in schedule again in May?

Gilbertguy, the codeshare is NOT a revenue share deal. If someone books through UAL & ends up flying on a U aircraft, then U gets ALL of the revenue from that leg of the flight. Same goes if someone books on U and ends up flying on UAL.
FWIW, I am a UAL pilot. OK, furloughed pilot. I like the codeshare with U because we have very little route overlap. As for a merger, I am opposed and have always opposed a merger between the two companies ... there are just too many problems created by merging.
