US Airways

lost a high school bud back in 68----city cop on a driving violation stop was shot and killed as the window was rolled down---not enough money for these fine folks---suspects were cornered in house and shot in gun battle ---S&W justice.

this is not aviation related and could turn into opinions that are strong to many people. it's sad that this cop died but it doesen't belong here. i think the mods should close this one because it could turn ugly . ( just my opinion)

Please continue to follow this in "the water cooler".
I didn't intend for this to be non-avaiation related, just that he flew US from MIA-PHL. You done right in moving this. It took off way differently than I intended. Now since this is in the Water Cooler, they ought to Fry him like the guy in the movie "Green Mile".

Why is everyone so surprised that this happens on a regular basis. We live in a society on which violence is an accepted form of interaction. Someone insults you, beat them up, someone flicks you off on the freeway, run them off the road. We go to the movies and we think nothing of seeing someone dismembered, blown up, shot, tortured or what have you. If someone is getting a good old fashioned porking, that is off limits because it is "bad". Never heard of someone getting porked to death.

I have not been able to find any stats that show if the per capita murder ates have gone up or down over the past 100 years or so. I would not be surprised if they have gone up substantially.
