When will all the lashing out between US and Delta employees stop? Everyone needs to realize that NONE of us have any say in this. The creditors that want their money will take the highest bid for return on every dollar...period. And, yes I reazlize Delta ALPA is a creditor and will vote no, as they have a right to do. We are all simply pawns on a chess board. If the merger happens, then it happens. If does not, best of luck to Delta and US Airways. The reality is, we all do the same job, we fly people from point A to B. Everything that takes place to make that happen is essentially the same. I just can't understand why everyone thinks they are better than everyone else. Sure an amenity may be different here or there. Most of that is the result of Management giving its front line the tools to do that job. Unfortunately, the traveling public does not want any of that anymore. Or, if they do they don't want to pay for it. Can't we just all move forward and hope for the best, whatever that may be...

**Okay, you guys got me, I mispelled "pawn". lol

We are all simply prawns on a chess board.

I AM NOT A PRAWN! 😛 Unless someone wants me over for dinner.

Informed1, to be honest, I haven't heard anyone where I work taking pot shots at Delta employees. As a matter of fact, PIT's Delta ground work is done by Delta Global Services, which employees a fair number of former US employees. They do a good job, and a lot is asked from them by the Delta PIT management.

Maybe I'm not listening closely, but aside from no one where I work wanting to jump ship for DGS, I don't hear US employees taunting DL employees. The opposite was only visible to me on the KeepDeltaMyDelta MySpace page. Now, that was inflammatory, to be sure.

Prawn?

Since when are shrimps used on a chess board?

I think he meant Pawn, LOL!

Prawns would make for interesting chess pieces. Better to use them for rooks or knights instead of pawns to keep the smell down on the board. If they are used as pawns, then I would recommend using frozen prawns to prolong the game.

Sounds pretty good.

Dinner tomorrow (later today):
- ABTs - Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise. Scrape out seeds and veins. Fill with seasoned Philadelphia cream cheese. Press a ‘lil-smokey’ sausage into the cheese. Wrap with a slice of bacon. Smoke, indirect heat, 350*, ‘till bacon is crisp. (about 1 hour)
- Caesar salad WITH the egg and anchovy.
- Sea scallops - Brush with garlic oil. Sear at 700*. Finish with lobster tails.
- Lobster tails - cut out the hard membrane on the under side. Run a skewer through the meat so it doesn’t curl. Grill meat side down at 350* ‘till they start to turn color. Flip them over and add a little garlic butter. Grill to 150* internal.
- Fillets – Brush with olive oil. Season with a little Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. Sear at 700* on each side for 90 seconds. Place in smoker at 250* until internal temp reaches 125*. (170* for my wife)
- Baked sweet potatoes.
- Twice baked Yukon Gold potatoes (for those who don't like sweet potatoes)
- Steamed broccoli.
- Carrot and celery sticks.
- Grilled pineapple slices.
- Bananas Foster with vanilla ice cream.

Another way to make the poppers are spilt down the middle, take out the seeds and vein, stuff with philly cream cheese and velvetta, wrap with bacon and use a toothpick to hold it all together then grill.

And what time shall we all be over MMB?
